The Hain Celestial Group is dedicated to providing wholesome, great-tasting gluten-free products that take the stress out of shopping and cooking. At Hain Celestial, we take every measure possible to ensure that all of our products labeled as gluten-free meet our high standards of testing. Our gluten-free products contain less than 10 parts per million of the gluten protein in wheat, rye and barley which is well below the international standards of 20 parts per million.
We conduct tests at every step, from product development through production and packaging, to ensure that no ingredient contains a detectable amount of gluten, and that high standards are maintained and monitored at production facilities to avoid cross-contamination.
Our facilities are allergen cleaned before every gluten-free product run and allergen test samples from every batch we produce are sent out to independent laboratories for allergen testing. In addition, we educate the people who work with our gluten-free products, and those who handle our raw ingredients, so the purity of your food is never compromised.
When my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, a common form of gluten intolerance that affects 1 in every 133 people in the United States, I found her new diet confusing. It was so difficult to determine which foods were okay, and which hidden-ingredients, from soy sauce to molasses, sometimes contain gluten. And I quickly discovered that many of the gluten-free foods on the market are not particularly appealing in terms of taste and texture, so making her meals that she likes can be a challenge.
That’s why I’m proud to be associated with The Hain Celestial Group.
